He currently is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar Guardianship Law and Probate Law Committee, and is a member of the Executive Council of that section serving as a judicial liaison for probate matters. He is also a member of the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar and a member of The Florida Bar Probate Rules Committee and the Bar's Probate Law and Procedures Committee. Judge Grossman has also served on the Supreme Court Commission on Fairness, as co-chairperson of the Commission's Guardianship Monitoring Committee and as vice-chair of the State of Florida's Guardianship Task Force.Judge Grossman has serves on the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Access to Court Records. Judge Grossman authored Chapter 20, Practice Under Florida Probate Code, in Pitfalls In Estate Administration: A View From The Bench (2005). He has appeared before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging at the committee's request and participated in an invitational symposium on guardianship monitoring held by the AARP's Public Policy Institute in collaboration with the ABA Commission on Law and Aging. Judge Grossman has initiated and is currently supervising the circuit's development of e-filing for probate and guardianship cases.
