~ Gwen Kaldenberg Biography ~

Ms. Kaldenberg provides leadership and coordination for all professionals concerned with dementia care at Menorah Manor. She develops and implements best practices, policies, programs and therapeutic interventions for behavioral adjustments and all other aspects of dementia care. She helped develop and publish the training material, Alzheimer's Train-the-Trainer, Dementia Training for the Special Care of Nursing Home Residents and conducts the required training for Florida health care workers and presents courses in the assessment and management of dementia at Statewide and local professional conferences. Ms. Kaldenberg has spent the last twenty six years working as a medical social worker with geriatrics being her main focus. She has a Masters degree in Arts/Counseling as well as a Masters degree in Social Work.
