Since March 1, 1993 Mr. Mighdoll has held the position of Chief of the Economic Crimes and Crimes Against the Elderly Unit of the Office of the State Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida. This unit prosecutes Organized Schemes to Defraud, complex Grand Thefts, Elderly Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation, Battery on Persons 65 Years of Age or Older, and other fraud crimes.

Mr. Mighdoll has coordinated seminars for local law enforcement on Crimes Against the Elderly at Palm Beach Community College Criminal Justice Academy. He has also spoken on Elderly Crimes to the Illinois Department of Aging, University of Miami Training Institute on Aging and Disabilities, Lynn University College of Health Sciences, South College, American Society on Aging, Mental Health Association, Area Agency on Aging, Alzheimer's Association, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Stetson University College of Law and to local civic organizations. He has also been a faculty member at the National Advocacy Center for Trial Advocacy in Columbia, South Carolina.
