LAKE WORTH SERVICE CENTER RELOCATING TO RIVIERA BEACH
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Department of Children and Families’ Lake Worth Service Center will close on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011. The office will be relocated to Port Center at 2051 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Suite 200. The new office will open for business Dec. 1, 2011.
ACCESS customers who use the center at 4220 Lake Worth Road can find assistance at the new site or through any one of the DCF’s more than 200 Community Partner sites throughout Palm Beach County.

The DCF Community Partner program was created to engage communities in helping families-in-need achieve economic self-sufficiency. ACCESS Community Partners are located throughout the county.
Community Partners assist clients with online applications for food assistance, Medicaid, and temporary cash assistance.
For media interested in covering this story, on-site interviews can be arranged for Monday morning between 9 a.m. and noon with Regional Director of Communications Mark Riordan or senior staff. During that time, surplus office equipment and furniture will be provided to Community Partners and Faith Farm Ministries.
