FLORIDA LEADERS STRIVE TO BOOST COLLEGE ACCESS AND SUCCESS

increase graduation and employment rates among young adults ~
WHO: Department of Children and Families Secretary David Wilkins, Florida Children and Youth Cabinet, Florida’s Foundation, the Washington-based Forum for Youth Investment, Legislators, school system and higher education officials.
WHAT: The roundtable event is part of the Forum for Youth Investment’s Ready by 21, Credentialed by 26 project, which helps state and local leaders across the country increase supports for older youth – with an emphasis on helping low-income, minority and first-generation college-goers obtain postsecondary credentials with labor market value.
