SOCIAL SERVICES PROVIDERS TO GATHER TO SHOWCASE RESOURCES
~ Provider fair will educate professionals on the wide array of programs and
services for area children and their families ~

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – The Department of Children and Families, Big Bend Community Based Care, Second Judicial Circuit Court Administration, Boys Town North Florida, Children's Home Society, DISC Village, Inc. and Florida Baptist Children's Home will host the fourth annual Spring Social Services Bazaar tomorrow, April 27 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for community providers serving children and families in the Big Bend region.

Held annually in conjunction with Child Abuse Prevention Month, the provider fair is an opportunity for providers to share program information with social workers and administrators in child welfare.

What: Spring Social Services Bazaar

Who: More than more 40 social services providers from the Big Bend area, including the Department of Children and Families, Big Bend Community Based Care, Guardian ad Litem, Court Administration, Boys Town North Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice, Children's Home Society, DISC Village, Inc., Florida Baptist Children's Home, Early Learning Coalition, Heart Gallery North Florida, Whole Child Leon and many more.

When: 10 a.m.-11 a.m., Friday, April 27

Location: Leon Human Services, 1000 W. Tharpe St., Tallahassee

Why: Providers find that they are unaware of the variety of resources available in our community. The Spring Social Services Bazaar brings together many of these providers to exchange information and increase the knowledge base of professionals serving the children and families in the Big Bend area.
