ACCESS Florida Food, Medical Assistance and Cash

Welcome to EBT

EBT stands for Electronic Benefits Transfer. It is the way you will receive your cash and food assistance benefits. The USDA Food Stamp Program changed it’s name to the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) effective October 2008.

Your benefits are deposited into a cash or food assistance account each month. To get cash and buy food or other items with the benefits in this account, you will use your ACCESS card, which is commonly called an EBT Card.
