Florida Child Care Credential Program Provider Application

New Applicants:
The Department of Children and Families accepts applications from established training programs applying for recognition as a Florida Child Care Credential Training Provider in January, March, June and September. Each application is reviewed by a team of subject matter experts who will review and submit ratings and comments to the Department of Children and Families for final determination. The ratings and comments of Florida Child Care Credential application reviewers are critical considerations in making final decisions. Upon final decision, applicants are approved for designation as a Florida Childcare Credential Training program provider, provided with recommendations and given an opportunity to resubmit with clarifications or changes, or are denied Florida Childcare Credential Training Program Provider status.
**Allow 3-4 months for processing and notification.

Please note - Applications are accepted in January, March, June and September, based on the date received in the office.

Florida Child Care Credential Program Requirement of Accreditation or Licensure

The Florida Child Care Credential Training Provider approved prior to February 2006, Program must provide proof of one of the following below when there is a change in sponsorship, programming or a new application is submitted. For new applications, accreditation or licensure must be verified before review process will commence. The training program cannot be merely sponsored by another licensed or accredited institution. Each training program must hold independent licensure or accreditation as described below
