Community Based Medicaid Administrative Claiming (CBMAC) Program

CBMAC Attachments and Documentation

Attachment A - Each provider has been asked to designate one time study coordinator and one back-up coordinator. If you have multiple sites for the programs participating in the time study, please designate a coordinator and back-up coordinator for each site.

Attachment B and Roster Template - This contains detailed guidance on who, within your organization and programs, should participate in the time study and the information we need on each participant. Included in this time study process are case management and after care, but not inpatient and residential care programs. In general, taff that have direct or indirect contact with clients participate in the time study, while those staff that are support staff or are classified as "overhead" do not participate in the time study. For example, receptionists, billing clerks, landscaping, janitorial, and maintenance staff who are not directly related to the treatment of clients should not participate in the time study.

Attachment C - This outlines the specific dates/locations of the training sessions. PCG will conduct multiple in-person regional training sessions as well as six additional web-based trainings for any provider staff that could not attend in person. Time study coordinators must attend one of the in-person trainings. Please select the training(s) that your coordinator and staff will attend and return this information to PCG.

The training sessions will provide information on the new system, including a live demonstration, and detailed instructions on how to respond to a moment and select the appropriate activity code. In addition, coordinators will receive extensive training on their role and will be provided with training documents to use to train all staff participating in the time study at their program site that were unable to attend a training session. The time study coordinators are responsible for ensuring all participants can properly identify activities and know how to use the web-based system or complete the paper-based time study forms correctly.
